HERE are the ratings from Barnsley FC's Championship derby against Sheffield Wednesday at Oakwell.

Barnsley

Collins: Very lucky when he raced out of goal and totally missed his clearance, only for Rhodes to put a golden chance wide. The Owls striker found a way past him before the break. Not convincing. 5

Sollbauer: Missed a glorious opportunity to put the Reds in front early, but his goal drought continues. Brought off at the break. 6

Helik: A dream week was abruptly ended for the big Pole. He and his fellow defenders won't be happy at conceding twice. 6

Andersen: Cleared his lines and won challenges. The problems were elsewhere in the main. 6

Brittain: Not the force he can be going forward. 6

R Palmer: Up against two determined opponents in Bannan and Pelupessy and could not dictate.5

Mowatt: Whipped in some trademark deliveries of quality, but did not have it all his own way in the middle ground.

Styles: This was not vintage Styles, underlined with his mistake for the Owls' second. 5

Frieser: Quiet in the first half and Barnsley needed more from him. Taken off at the interval. 5

Woodrow: Had the ball in the net from a corner, but it was ruled out for an infringement. Below-par. 5

Dike: Barnsley's go-to man and comfortably their biggest weapon on the day. Two Owls defenders were booked for fouls on him. 7

Sibbick (Sollbauer 45). Entered the fray for Sollbauer at the break. 6

Chaplin (Woodrow 68), 6.

Not used: Walton, J Williams, Oduor, Adeboyejo.

Sheffield Wednesday

Wildsmith: Thrust into the derby spotlight with Westwood picking up a knock in the warm-up. Looked hesitant at times. Went down with injury in the first half, but recovered. Protected well. 6

Urhoghide: Showed discipline and appetite for the fight. 7

L Palmer: Plenty of energy down the right and took care of Styles and played a part in the Owls' second goal. 8

Bannan: Grew into the game and became a dominant midfield force. Nice cross for Rhodes's opener. 8
