Revealed: Carabao Cup round one details
The draw for the first round of the competition was made on Sky Sports News on Tuesday morning, with Simon Weaver's Harrogate making their debut in the competition with a trip to the Wirral to face Tranmere Rovers at Prenton Park.
The only home ties for White Rose sides see Barnsley welcome Nottingham Forest - who they beat in memorable fashion at the end of the Championship season in their last home game of the 2019-20 campaign.
