Keiren Westwood – came off his line to make a good save from Andre Ayew, and commanded his defence confidently 7

Hide AdSam Hutchinson – solid in the back three, he clashed heads with Callum Paterson but carried on 6
Tom Lees – his mistake was decisive, and not his only one 4
Julian Borner – a mixed bag with some very good stuff but some howlers too. Lucky not to concede a penalty 5
Liam Palmer – got into some good crossing positions without finding his man often enough 5
Joey Pelupessy – not eye-catching but did a job in midfield 6
Barry Bannan – did his best to drive Wednesday forward 7
Adam Reach – worked hard at wing-back 6

Josh Windass – bright up front but unable to provide the much-needed goal 6
Jordan Rhodes – his last act was a brilliant slide tackle but unable to do what the Owls needed from him, heading a first-half corner over when backpedalling him 6
