Sheffield Wednesday player ratings: 'Excellent,' 'nuisance,' 'creative' as forwards take plaudits
Sheffield Wednesday produced a terrific attacking display to sweep Wimbledon aside 5-0 at Hillsborough.
After a performance like that, the attacking players were bound to catch the eye, but there was an important clean sheet to celebrate too as the Owls moved back into the League One play-off places.
Ashley Maynard-Brewer – had very little to do after coming in for the injured Joe Lumley 6
Yan Valery – got forward effectively from right-back 7

Di'Shon Bernard – a fairly easy day for the central defender 6
Liam Cooper – a few loose passes but nothing costly 6
Reece James – confident getting forward throughout, he seemed to enjoy linking with Harry Gray 8
Jaden Heskey – did some good things in midfield 7

Barry Bannan – broke the deadlock with his deflected finish 7
Davis Keillor-Dunn – started on the right but quickly moved alongside Jamal Lowe. Wherever he played, he was excellent 9
Callum Slattery – a creative presence throughout and a nice goal 8
Harry Gray – drifting off the left, he was a constant nuisance to the visiting defenders 8
Jamal Lowe – played his part in an excellent attacking display 7
Substitutes:
Gabriel Otegbayo (for Cooper, 60) – came on and saw out the clean sheet 6
Billy Mitchell (for Bannan, 60) – was keen to add to the scoreline 6
Ali Al Hamadi (for J Lowe, 60) – useful run-out 5
Max Lowe (for Bernard, 74) – welcome return from injury 5
Kieran Morrison (for Gray, 80) – missed a couple of good chances but set up the fifth 6
