Sheffield Wednesday team news: Matt Hamshaw playing wait and see over defensive injuries
Matt Hamshaw is juggling a number of injury concerns ahead of Sunday's League One trip to Blackpool, and not yet sure what he will come out with.
Defensively, the caretaker manager has a number of players "on the border line" of fitness for the game, and is waiting to see which side of it they fall.
Centre-backs Liam Cooper, Di'Shon Bernard, Ricardo Santos and Sil Swinkels all missed the midweek draw with Cambridge United, Hamshaw's first match in temporary command.
"Everything's kind of up in the air a little bit," said Hamshaw, when asked who might be back. "I think it's going to be a race against the clock. We've got a number coming back.

"Obviously, I can't go into too much detail at the minute for obvious reasons, with squad selection etc but it's going to be a race against time for a few. Hopefully some will make it, some won't.
"The lucky thing is we've obviously got an extra 24 hours than we probably would have had. We've trained this morning and let's just see.
"I think we've missed Coops, we've missed Dish, we've missed Rico. They're obviously the big three players. I thought Ernie (Weaver) started off a bit shaky the first 15 minutes and grew into the game.
"I'd love to give everybody great news, but I think it'll all be revealed when the teamsheet comes out.

"The lads are desperate to get back, but it's important that we make sure that our processes are done right because we don't want to play somebody for an hour to then lose them for three or four weeks.
"That isn't the way to be successful in the campaign."
Injuries have been a big factor in Wednesday's season, although thy have a doper squad than most in League One to deal with it.
"We've carried probably five or six more than we'd like," said Hamshaw, on the coaching staff since August. "But what can you do? A lot of them are just contact injuries. You look at Louie Barry's, he's gone off the pitch at Wycombe. What can you do about that?
"It's not been like it's been overloading. These things can happen. It's a contact sport and injuries unfortunately happen.
"It just feels like we've got them all in one area, which is quite tough, isn't it?"
