Football statistics site Transfermrkt have compiled an alternative table for the current Championship campaign, which determines how reliant clubs are on goals from their English players, by removing all their goals from the results. Here's a look at how it affects the current league table.
5. Preston North End - 5th
There's little change for the Lilywhites, but they do edge a place higher than their current standings. Daniel Johnson's eleven goals have done the job here.
6. Sheffield Wednesday - 6th
Well now, this is quite something. The Owls rocket from 15th into the play-off spots. A big factor in this is Scotsman Steven Fletcher, who has scored four match-winning goals this season.
7. Nottingham Forest - 7th
Sabri Lamouchi's side are jostled out of their play-off spot, losing four of their wins in the process. A lot of their results are changed to draws, and their goal difference is slashed in half.
8. Swansea City - 8th
The Swans capitalise, despite no change at all in their points tally. The only thing that changes is, of course, the number of goals scored and conceded. Everything else is exactly the same!
