MONDAY night saw Sheffield Wednesday owner Dejphon Chansiri finally run out of patience with manager Garry Monk after 58 games in the Hillsborough hotseat.

As should be expected for a club the size of Wednesday, the list of potential candidates to succeed Monk is long, with Tony Pulis and former Owls captain Nigel Pearson among the favourites.
