Spurs youth Mason back to lift Rovers

DONCASTER Rovers head to Ipswich Town hoping to turn the tide after two heavy defeats in four days.

Rovers conceded eight goals without reply against Reading and Wolves but are boosted by the return on loan of Tottenham midfielder Ryan Mason.

England Under-19s international Mason joined Rovers on loan last August but had to return to his parent club after suffering a back injury.

Doncaster have taken four points from their previous two visits to Portman Road and will be looking to take advantage of an Ipswich side still finding their feet under Paul Jewell.

However, manager Sean O'Driscoll was keen to focus on his own team rather than their opponents.

He said: "After two defeats and eight goals conceded, we're not going to concentrate on Ipswich. We have our own problems.

"We've watched Ipswich against Arsenal and Millwall, so that side carries on as normal. The emphasis is on what side I am going to play and can we do the same?"
