Team news: Defender Alex Bruce could return to the squad after a back injury but Michael Dawson and Adama Diomande are both still out. The pair could, though, be back to face Bury in the FA Cup fourth round a week today. Fulham forward Ross McCormack is expected to feature despite speculation regarding his future. Cauley Woodrow will be unavailable due to a foot injury.

Leeds United v Bristol City

Team news: Chris Wood is set to return for the first time since tweaking his hamstring in the final game of 2015, meaning Souleymane Doukara is likely to drop back to the bench. Stuart Dallas will continue on the flank, with Mustapha Carayol on the other following the departure of Sam Byram this week to West Ham.

Middlesbrough v Nottingham Forest

Team news: Ben Gibson (hip) misses out again for Boro, with Fernando Amorebieta lacking to continue to deputise. New Spanish striker Kike Sola could feature. Forest chief Dougie Freedman should have an unchanged squad as he attempts to extend his side’s unbeaten run to a dozen matches in all competitions. David Vaughan is suspended and Henri Lansbury has ankle damage.

Reading v Sheffield Wednesday

Team news: Fernando Forestieri (knee) is a doubt for the Owls, with new signings Gary Hooper and Joe Bennett in the squad. Goalkeepers Keiren Westwood (muscle strain) and Joe Wildsmith (back) are doubts so Lewis Price is on standby.
