There are some huge games with wide-reaching repercussions.

Championship (all Saturday 12.30pm)

Huddersfield Town v Brentford

Team news: Nahki Wells is out with a knee injury that he has been nursing for the past month or so. The problem does not require an operation but it is felt there is little point in risking aggravating the injury. Jamie Paterson, Emyr Huws and Jed Steer sign off after loan spells.

Hull City v Rotherham United

Team news: Steve Bruce is expected to revert to his first choice starting XI but DavidMeyler and Nick Powell are both still absent through injury. Joe Mattock is a doubt with a dead leg for the Millers, who will be without Joe Newell (ankle) and Lloyd Doyley (knee). Youngster Darnelle Bailey-King will be on the bench.

Last time: Hull City 1 Rotherham United 1; August 11, 2012; League Cup. Steve Bruce’s first game as Tigers manager saw the League One Millers bow out 7-6 on penalties in the first round.

Key battle: Abel Hernandez v Steven Kelly. City’s top scorer is likely to return after being rested for the last two games and the Millers backline must be alert to prevent the striker netting for a fourth time in his last five outings.

Talking point: City need a point to effectively guarantee fourth place and home advantage in the play-offs but Rotherham will be determined to sign off in style.

Middlesbrough v Brighton

Team news: Influential left-back George Friend will be assessed ahead of kick-off, having returned to training following a hamstring injury. Likely to replace Ritchie de Laet if he is fit. Gordon Greer set to deputise for suspended Brighton centre-half Lewis Dunk.

Bore end-of-season draw played out, with Boro having one eye on the play-offs - unlike this year..

Opposition key man: Anthony Knockaert. Plenty of contenders, including Jiri Stalek and Baram Kayal. But ex-Leicester winger Knockaert gets the nod. Tricky, clever and running hot. Scored four goals and recorded four assists last month - to take the Football League Championship Player of the Year gong.

Talking point: Stage fright. Boro froze against a team in yellow chasing promotion in Norwich City at Wembley at the end of 2014-15, with Mike Dean being the referee again like he was 12 months ago. Can the Teessiders avoid lightning striking twice to claim their moment of redemption against yellow-shirted visitors.

Preston North End v Leeds United

Team news: Souleymane Doukara is back in the squad following his eight-game ban. 
Giuseppe Bellusci is also expected to miss the trip to Deepdale through illness. Bailey Peacock-Farrell, pictured, may start in 
goal.

Wolverhampton Wanderers v Sheffield Wednesday

Team news: Sheffield Wednesday will make eight or nine changes from the side which beat Cardiff last weekend, with players like Fernando Forestieri and Sam Hutchinson rested ahead of the play-offs. Winger Ross Wallace serves the final match of a three-game ban.

Bradford City v Chesterfield

Team news: James Hanson (calf) and Filipe Morais (knee) are unlikely to be risked after suffering slight strains this week. Kyel Reid also has a tight groin but should be fit, though Phil Parkinson could opt to give Paul Anderson a first start since his broken leg early in the season.

Key man: Lee Nogan. Back in West Yorkshire, the former Huddersfield Town striker will be keen to add to his 14 goals as the Spireites top scorer.

Talking point: Victory for the Bantams plus either Millwall failing to beat Gillingham of Walsall losing heavily will mean home advantage in the second leg of the play-off semi-finals.

Doncaster Rovers v Burton Albion

Team news: Richard Chaplow could return for Rovers, with Mitchell Lund also fit. Youngsters Will Longbottom and Joe Pugh will be in Rovers’ squad. 
Dany N`Guessan and Paul Keegan are sidelined.

Team news: Sheffield United have a couple of niggling injuries, but should be near full strength to face Sunthorpe. Injured full-back John Brayford, pictured, will not feature though.

Wigan Athletic v Barnsley

Team news: Aidy White may feature on the bench, but George Smith and James Bree are missing, along with Marley Watkins (broken jaw) and Ryan Williams (groin).

Penalties from Conor Hourihane, Ivan Toney, Sam Winnall and skipper Alfie Mawson booked the Reds a berth in the northern final of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy after a dramatic 4-2 shoot-out win - ex-Tykes men Craig Davies and David Perkins missing for the Latics.

Earlier, goals from Adam Hammill and Ivan Toney were cancelled out by a Grigg brace.

Opposition key man: Will Grigg. As the song goes, Will Grigg’s on fire, your defence is terrified’ with 27 goals speaking for itself.

Talking point: The maths...

Barnsley start tomorrow’s game with a slight goal difference advantage over Scunthorpe and two-point lead over Gillingham. Paul Heckingbottom has said he will have an eye on other games in regards to potential game management late on at Wigan, but his sole concern is looking the Reds’ part of the bargain. Win and the top six will in all likelihood be clinched.

Morecambe v York City

Team news: Vadaine Oliver is back in the squad after a calf problem but the Minstermen are still without Femi Ilesanmi (hamstring) while Reece Thompson is again unavailable.
