Team of the Week - Sheffield Wednesday and Huddersfield Town leading the way
The pick of Yorkshire’s players from the weekend ...
TWO clubs dominate our latest Yorkshire Post Team of the Week - in the shape of Huddersfield Town and Sheffield Wednesday following outstanding League One wins against Plymouth Argyle and AFC Wimbledon respectively.
Six clubs feature in our XI - and who is the manager?
Goalkeeper: Matt Young (Huddersfield Town) - A safe pair of hands on a vintage day for Town at Home Park.
Defence - Jayden Bogle (Leeds United): Continued his excellent season and was United's best player against arch-rivals Manchester United.
Matt Pennington (Bradford City): City's 'Mr Reliable' played his part as the hosts secured another clean sheet - and lift off for the Michael Duff era versus Stevenage.
Iwane Bowat (Huddersfield Town): Bounced back superbly from his own goal the previous weekend with a top-notch performance in Devon.
Callum Brittain (Middlesbrough): Stellar for the second game in a row and sparked Boro's comeback against Cardiff with an assist. Barnstorming.
Midfield - Ollie Arblaster (Sheffield United): Restored to the starting line-up and didn't let his manager down. Magnificent winner at Ashton Gate.
Archie Collins (Huddersfield Town): Coming along very nicely indeed and won his challenges and hoovered up the ball expertly at Plymouth.
Callum Slattery (Sheffield Wednesday): Back to his best and excelled in the Owls' five-star show against the Dons.
Forwards - Derensili Sanches Fernandes (Huddersfield Town): Arguably League One's player of the season so far and Plymouth couldn't get near him for large parts on Saturday. The Golden Boy scored his third goal in successive games.
Davis Keillor-Dunn (Sheffield Wednesday): Showed why Wednesday were so keen to bring him in with a predatory double.
Archie Gray (Sheffield Wednesday): A constant pest for the Dons backline and scored a well-taken goal in the hosts' rout.
Manager/head coach: Martin Drury (Huddersfield Town).
