Sheffield WEDNESDAY are reportedly in the frame - along with Aston Villa and Newcastle United - to sign in-demand Fulham striker Ross McCormack.

After missing out 1-0 to Yorkshire rivals Hull City in the Championship play-off final, the Owls see the prolific former Leeds United front man as an ideal addition to their ranks, hoping he can add the goals which will take them back to the Premier League

Leeds United have been linked with three players from Portuguese Premier League side CD Nacional. Ali Ghazal, Rui Correia and Salvador Agra have all been touted as possible purchases for Garry Monk side.

The Egyptian international Ghazal coame close to playing alongside Monk for Swansea City back in 2013 but, in the end, the transfer didn’t materialise.

Fulham are thinking off making an approach for former Huddersfield Town loanee Emyr Huws. Wigan Athletic value the Welsh midfielder at £2.5m and Fulham may match the bid.

The 22-year-old scored five goals in 30 league appearances last season for the Terriers and may make the move down South.

Barnsley continue to be linked with a move for Colchester United George Moncur, The 22 year-old is the son of former West Ham United man John Moncur and the staff at Oakwell see him as their first signing. The Reds have already had a £400,000 bid rejected and are likely to be prepared to up their offer to get their star man.

Further afield, Manchester United could sign forwards Breel Embolo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, while Liverpool Cameron Brannagan is wanted by Spanish Giants Barcelona and Real Madrid.
