Transfer Talk (Tuesday): Leeds eye German if Chris Wood goes | Owls scour market | Boro get their £3m man
Leeds United are understood to be making contingency plans for if Burnley come back with an offer that is too good to refuse for striker Chris Wood.
The Clarets are considering upping their offer to £20m for the Kiwi international, who struck 27 goals in the Championship last season, while West Bromwich, Stoke and Swansea are monitoring events at Elland Road.

The 25-year-old Lassogga, with 30 goals from 107 appearances for Hamburg, is being linked to a season-long loan deal with a view to making the move permanent next summer.
Sheffield Wednesday, meanwhile, are also heavily linked with players coming in and going out but their pressing need is for central defensive cover.
That was underlined when Glenn Loovens departed with a back injury against QPR on Saturday, leaving just Tom Lees as their specialist centre-back.

The Owls have also been linked with a move for former Hull City and Leeds United attacking wideman Robert Snodgrass, who has failed to impress at West Ham since a £10.6m January move.
Aston Villa manager Steve Bruce, however, is favourite to sign his former player at Hull, Scotland international Snodgrass, but Middlesbrough are also being linked.
Bruce remains interested in Owls striker Jordan Rhodes, while Wednesday’s Fernando Forestieri, left out of the squad following a training ground bust-up, is favourite to return to former club Watford, although Crystal Palace are also showing interest, as their former Hillsborough loan star, Connor Wickham, recovers from injury.
