Video: Doncaster Rovers sign French prospect from Stoke City
The highly-rated young midfielder is a regular for the Potters Under-21s side and has also been capped by France at Under-19 level and could make his debut in Rovers’ home game with Port Vale tomorrow (Tuesday).
Lecygne’s addition follows on from the loan capture of striker Lynden Gooch from Sunderland for a month late last week and Ferguson says it is unlikely he will do any more incoming business before the closure of the winter window.

Hide AdOn ex Stade Rennais player Lecygne, who will wear the number seven shirt for Rovers, Ferguson said: “I have seen him a few times and he’s a good player. He’s only 19 years old and comes highly recommended.
“He’s a really good young midfield player with a good range of passing.
“At the moment in that ‘sitting’ position, we’ve only really got Keegs (Paul Keegan) that can do it. So we have added Eddy to the squad.
“He is a sitter who tries to get control of the game and is good technically, so we are pleased to get him.”

Cameron Stewart and Harry Middleton will still be missing along with Nathan Tyson.
