We should have won, insists Barnsley FC head coach
After plumbing the depths at Stoke on Saturday, Barnsley turned up a much better performance in terms of attitude, desire and cohesion, but were left to kick themselves in failing to convert a number of presentable opportunities in a 1-1 draw at Kenilworth Road.
Luton took the lead thanks to a 14th-minute goal from ex-Reds midfielder Luke Berry, but despite having a number of chances, it took the intervention of late substitute Aapo Halme to rescue a point for the Reds on a night when a victory and not a draw was the major priority for both.

Hide AdStruber, whose side welcome Wigan on Saturday, said: "Everyone knows that one point in our situation is not enough, especially when you see the whole game.
"In the first half, we had so much control and we created big chances and we don't score... This is the issue and we had the best chances and we are disappointed.
"We had complete control in the first half and it was completely in our hands and we couldn't use the momentum for us. In the game at Stoke, we had completely the wrong mindset and in this game, everyone showed me a very good performance. But in the end, we did not score the goals.
"This is the situation and we are not so happy.
"It was a good performance from my team and they showed me a very good energy. But in the end, we lose two points.

"But we have to fight until the last game and we have to pick up points in the next games. But our big goal here was three points."
