Where Rotherham United boss Steve Evans can draw inspiration from former Millers manager Paul Warne
The Millers chief, whose side were in action at Oakwell last night, has cited his maiden full season with the club - first time around in 2012-13 when they went up from League Two - as evidence of that.
The most recent and perhaps best example of the slow-starting Millers coming good when it matters was under Paul Warne in 2017-18.

Evans, whose side were in a modest 14th place ahead of kick-off at Barnsley, said: "We will finish up there, but there’s a process to get there.

"There’s lots of things we’d have loved to have done, but we can’t do because we have to be respectful for contracts and different things.
"The aim has always been that this club is in two stages. It comes where we are (now) in a period of transition, trying to organise and do things.
"If you look at my words carefully in the summer, I said we’d be up there, but we have to be in and now around that group as we pass Christmas.

Assistant boss Paul Raynor served the first game of a two-match touchline ban at Barnsley last night.
Raynor was handed the punishment for an incident against Wrexham last month. He had contested a charge of behaving in an improper manner and/or using insulting words towards a match official, but was found guilty.
