JIM HARVEY welcomes back Nicky Wroe today as FC Halifax Town look to continue their amazing turnaround of what had been shaping up to be a wretched season.

A little over two months ago, the Shaymen were rock bottom of the Conference and odds-on to be relegated after a truly wretched run that cost Darren Kelly his job.

Harvey was promoted into Kelly’s place and his impact has been remarkable, Halifax being unbeaten in his first 10 games going into today’s trip to Woking.

Wroe has played a big part in that upturn in results and the midfielder gave the Yorkshire club a big boost by recently signing until the end of the season following his release by Notts County.

“Nicky has been very strong for us over the last two or three months,” added Harvey. “It is lovely to have him signed until the end of the season because

“I think the longer he has been with us here, his performances have been improving week by week.”

Graham Hutchison will remain on loan at Conference North outfit AFC Telford until the end of the season.
