Team news: Nakhi Wells, who has hit two goals in first last two Town appearances, is cup-tied as is fellow recent signing Joe Lolley, hero of Kidderminster’s recent third-round replay win at Peterborough. Otherwise, Mark Robins has no fresh injury problems with James Vaughan fit to start.

Rochdale v Sheffield Wednesday

Team news: Giles Coke returns to the Wednesday squad after injury, while Reda Johnson faces a fitness test on his hip. Injured defenders Kamil Zayatte and Martin Taylor due to play in private match on Monday. Connor Wickham cannot play under his loan deal from Sunderland, while goalkeeper Chris Kirkland could be rested, and replaced by Arsenal loan goalkeeper Damian Martinez.

Sheffield United v Fulham

Sunday 1pm

Team news: Elliott Whitehouse, Callum McFadzean and Billy Paynter all drop out of the squad that drew 2-2 with Bradford City due to having previously played in the Cup for other clubs. Stefan Scougall is likely to be on the bench after the attacking midfielder joined the Blades from Livingston before yesterday’s noon deadline on a permanent deal.

Southend United v Hull City

Team news: Nikica Jelavic and Shane Long are both Cup-tied so unable to play. Steve Bruce may also opt to rest Yannick Sagbo, who also sat out the third round win at Middlesbrough. That could give a chance to Matty Fryatt and Nick Proschwitz. Tom Huddlestone is suspended but would not have played anyway due to Bruce’s tendency to rest his key players in the Cup. Jack Hobbs returned to Hull yesterday but is Cup-tied, after playing for Nottingham Forest in the last round.

Championship

Blackpool v Doncaster Rovers

Team news: Billy Sharp is hoping to make his third debut for Rovers after arriving on loan for the rest of the season from Southampton, with Paul Dickov having a welcome selection dilemma after last weekend’s fine win over Wigan Athletic.

Abdoulaye Meite and Harry Forrester are nursing slight ankle injuries, with the latter returning to training yesterday and will be assessed ahead of this afternoon’s game. Rob Jones’ hopes of stepping up his comeback plans were hit by a reserve game being called off earlier this week. The club are hoping to line up a practice game next week.

Leicester City v Middlesbrough

Team news: Nathaniel Chalobah and Kenneth Omeruo aren’t part of the squad to face high-flying Leicester, with Jason Steele (ankle) again missing for the Teessiders.

Rotherham United v Crawley Town

Team news: Claude Davis is back from suspension, while captain Craig Morgan (toe) should be available early next month. Kari Arnason returns following illness. Richie Smallwood is hoping to make his debut after arriving on loan from Middlesbrough.

Hartlepool United v York City

Team news: Nick Pope will continue in goal after going straight into the side that drew 0-0 with Bristol Rovers last week after re-joining the club on loan, meaning Michael Ingham must be content with a place on the bench.
