Club: Drax GC member Pursglove aces during monthly medal

Just weeks after successfully completing treatment for prostate cancer, Jeff Pursglove returned to playing at Drax GC and fired his first ace on the 8th hole during the club’s monthly medal.

His playing partner Chris Burrows said: “Jeff hit a perfect 7 wood that just landed and rolled straight in the hole.”

Pursglove was too modest to discuss his feat, but one member said: “It couldn’t happen to a nicer bloke, especially after what he has been through in the last year.”
