Dan Cammish going all out to be crowned BTCC champion
The Morley driver holds second place in the championship just 16 points behind current leader and reigning champion Colin Turkington – but with 67 points up for grabs in the three races on Sunday he is in prime position to make a late push for the title. After a slow start to the season, Cammish put together a run of 11 podiums in 17 races in his Honda Yuasa Racing Honda Civic to drag himself into contention for the overall crown in just his second BTCC campaign.

“The BMW [Turkington’s car] is the fastest thing out there when it’s like for like – they’ve done a fantastic job. They’re still scrabbling around though, trying to get the job done. I’ll keep hanging in there and make myself a nuisance.”
