One change for Leeds’ starting seven, coming off the back of another loss against the Wasps on Sunday night, saw Dan Ryan revert back to his original starting seven.

In the opening quarter, the Rhinos were quick to give themselves the advantage, the Sirens found it difficult to pull apart the Rhinos defensive duo of Nicki Oyesola and Paige Kindred resulting in many failed shot attempts for the drilled away team.

The Sirens were not able to put on the same display, against the Rhinos as they had in their draw the previous evening against the Mavericks, with their attack not as effective against the Yorkshire outfit.

They struggled to keep the flow of Sienna Rushton, pictured, and Rhea Dixon under wraps, as the two youngsters dominated the shooting circle for goal after goal.

A tactical strategy from Ryanbefore the second quarter, saw the Rhinos revert to the same starting seven as they used in their battle against the Wasps, which this time worked better, to hand the Rhinos a three-goal advantage by half-time.

Rushton’s flawless performance made it difficult for the Sirens to leave her unattended in the circle as the Rhinos further attacked the post. Leeds continued to dominate, earning their third win of the season.
