Batley need one point to reach Qualifiers

Batley are 80 minutes away from a place in the Super 8s Qualifiers after beating second-placed London Broncos 31-20 in the Kingstone Press Championship.

John Kear’s men now need just a point from their last match of the regular season at Swinton next Sunday to join Leigh and the Broncos in the mix for a tilt at Super League.

The race for the two remaining spots will go down to the wire, with Bradford, Featherstone and Halifax all in the hunt on the final day.
