Bulldogs fall to surprise Oldham loss

In-form Batley Bulldogs suffered a surprise 28-12 defeat against an Oldham side who bounced back from successive defeats over the Easter weekend.

Jamel Chisholm (2), Richard Lepori, Liam Johnson and Sam Gee all went over as the Roughyeds put the disappointment of losing to Halifax and Swinton behind them.

Tom Lillycrop and Wayne Reittie touched down for the visitors as they fell to just their second league defeat of the season.

Oldham: Lepori, Clay, Gee, Johnson, Chisholm, Palfrey, Roper, Joy, Owen, Dickinson, Thompson, Middlehurst, Hope. Substitutes: Burke, Ward, Hughes, Spencer.
