Castleford Tigers winger Mikaele Ravalawa makes Championship loan move to fuel early exit talk
Castleford Tigers winger Mikaele Ravalawa has joined Championship club Doncaster on loan until the end of the year, fuelling talk of an early exit after a disappointing first season in Super League.
The 28-year-old joined the Tigers in a high-profile move from St George Illawarra Dragons in the off-season but has struggled to make an impact, scoring just four tries in 12 games.
Ravalawa returned to Ryan Carr's side earlier this month but has now dropped down to the second tier in the wake of Castleford's heavy derby defeat to 12-man Wakefield Trinity.
"Castleford Tigers can confirm that winger Mikaele Ravalawa has signed a loan with @Doncaster_RLFC with immediate effect to gain some valuable game time," read a social media post.

Ravalawa signed a three-year deal with the Tigers but this latest move casts fresh doubt over his long-term future at the club.
The Fiji international is in line to make his Doncaster debut against Oldham on Sunday.
