Hull KR coach Danny McGuire looking for Robins to back up win over Warrington Wolves
HULL KR coach Danny McGuire admitted his side's dramatic 30-22 Betfred Super League win over Warrington at the Halliwell Jones Stadium was the most gutsy win that he had ever been part of.
Rovers trailed 14-0 in the first half and 22-12 midway through the second half before staging a dramatic late rally to snatch victory.
McGuire said: "I nearly did a Mourinho and ran down the touchline at the end it was so exciting. It was the most gutsy win that I've ever been part of with all the things that went wrong during the game.
"I started in the warm up with Ryan Hall struggling and putting his hand up and struggling through and then we have a number of injuries throughout the game but the commitment and attitude to not give in and keep turning up for each other was fantastic.
"It was a real group effort and I'm proud of every one of them and when you get situations and performances like that everyone needs to enjoy it. The feeling after that game is up there with the best I've had but I'm more pleased for the lads really. We ground out a special performance against a good team.
"We've now got to keep working and grinding and come back fighting again next week."
