"I started in the warm up with Ryan Hall struggling and putting his hand up and struggling through and then we have a number of injuries throughout the game but the commitment and attitude to not give in and keep turning up for each other was fantastic.

"It was a real group effort and I'm proud of every one of them and when you get situations and performances like that everyone needs to enjoy it. The feeling after that game is up there with the best I've had but I'm more pleased for the lads really. We ground out a special performance against a good team.

"We've now got to keep working and grinding and come back fighting again next week."
