The relegated Super League side maintained their 100 per cent start to life in the Championship, scrum-half Jamie Ellis scoring a try and four goals in the win.

But Sheens was not happy after Broncos threatened a second half fightback in the capital.

“We couldn’t shake off London the whole game and we kept inviting them back in,” he said. “We were our own worst enemy.

“We were not good enough defensively today and we didn’t improve in that area from last week against Bradford.

“We put 50 on the board last week and the expectation was there that we do that again,” he added.

“Our frame of mind wasn’t right and we gave up the first try too softly once again.

“We had to scramble a lot of times to save ourselves and we managed to do that but it wasn’t good enough from us.”

Jordan Abdull, Ryan Shaw, Andrew Heffernan and Kieren Moss scored Rovers’ other tries yesterday.

Ex-Bradford star Jarrod Sammut grabbed two tries and three goals for London who also had former KR winger Kieran Dixon and Adrian Purtell also crossed.
