“He’s going to be really well suited to the conditions in Super League and I think he’s going to fit in really well.”

The 27-year-old forward played three times for Samoa in last year’s World Cup, scoring one try. He has more than 50 NRL games under his belt with current club Melbourne Storm, Wests Tigers and Penrith Panthers,

Auckland-born Moors - who can play second-row or prop and also in the centres - joined Storm ahead of the 2013 campaign and made his competitive debut in their World Club Challenge win over Leeds Rhinos at Headingley that season.

Meanwhile, Tigers are also understood to be close to signing second-row Matt Cook and hooker Scott Moore, from London Broncos.
