Tigers aiming to cash in on Isa deal

Castleford Tigers have signed Samoa centre or winger Willie Isa.

The 21-year-old has joined the Tigers from former NRL Champions Melbourne Storm on an initial one-year deal.

Isa, who made his Test debut for Samoa against New Zealand in October, has been signed as a replacement for recently retired centre James Evans and is expected to arrive in England in early January.

Head coach Terry Matterson said: "He has a good reputation down under and at 21 years of age he has the world at his feet.

"He reminds me of two years ago when we signed a young 22-year-old who had only played a handful of NRL Games. That was Rangi Chase and he's turned out to be a magnificent signing.

"He is a very strong and elusive centre who will bring some genuine speed to our backline."

Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have secured a major new sponsorship deal with accident compensation experts Rapid Solicitors.

It will see Belle Vue change its name to The Rapid Solicitors Stadium.
