Middlesbrough are set to make a £5m bid for Bristol City star defender Aden Flint.
Boro chief Tony Pulis is a big fan of the 6ft 6in goal-scoring centre-back, 28, who scored nine goals last season as Lee Johnson’s side finished 11th in the Championship and reached the EFL semi-finals.
The Robins are in a strong position with the player signing a new deal until 2021 last December and are unlikely to be tempted to be an offer in the region of £5m.
