Alistair Brownlee, the double Olympic champion, has backed The Yorkshire Post for its well-balanced opinions and its integrity.

The 32-year-old triathlete, one of this county’s greatest ever athletes, has added his endorsement to the level of trust and quality news that the The Yorkshire Post is known for.

He has said so in support of this newspaper’s decision to send some of its premium online content behind a paywall.
