Hide AdThe Raven’s Pass filly made light work of what had been a lengthy absence, grabbing the initiative on the far rail after just a couple of furlongs in a mile heat and finishing well clear of her rivals on that side.
The eventual runner up, Labyrinth, came down the centre that day and finished just over three lengths adrift but she has subsequently boosted the form with a comfortable verdict at Salisbury.
Dazzling Rose was hardly all-out to win on that occasion and while the handicapper has not exactly been light on her with a starting mark of 88, it nevertheless looks a workable rating and a recent Listed entry suggests connections feel there is a bit more to come.

From the family of Rebecca Sharp, owner Anthony Oppenheimer will surely be eager to get a win with this New Approach filly as she is part of one of his most famous bloodlines.
She has not shown a complete lack of ability in three starts to date, running a fair fifth on her debut at Ascot last September despite appearing desperately in need of the experience.

Tried at seven furlongs on her return at Lingfield in April, Pure Vanity failed to land a blow but the further experience will not have done her any harm and her rating of 67 leaves Charlton plenty to work with.
