Yorkshire golf - club news: Last-hole setback for Eddie Crapper proves only blip as he wins Birley Wood GC title
The 19-handicapper won by four from runner-up Terry Jones, who bested Steven Fletcher on count back.
Crapper got his round moving with a par at the second that was worth four points as he was receiving two shots at the 367-yard par-4 hole.

The first eight holes on the back nine saw him acquire two pointers plus net birdies at the 12th and 17th, both par-3s.
He might have feared his chance of victory had gone when he blobbed for the only time on the final hole, but little did he know he had already accumulated enough points for victory.
Victory in Birley Wood's Saturday medal went to Nigel Broadley (74-9-65) by a shot from Paul Baldwin (87-21-66). A point further back in third was Carlton Hollis (78-11-67).
