Coming back up to date, 27-handicapper Joanne Folwell won the club's Ladies April Stableford Combined Competition with 34 pts, aided by four net birdies at holes three, five, six and 12.
Maxine Rowlands, who plays off 23, will rue a final hole blob that cost her the chance of tieing Folwell.
She finished two points back in second place having scored an impressive 19pts on the back nine with the help of net birdies at holes 11, 12, 16 and 17.
Fellow 23-handicapper Suzanne Loughenbury also amassed 32pts, but was placed third on a count back over the last six holes.
