And she was one of three Yorkshire players who finished inside the top six, with Rotherham GC's Olivia Winning placing fifth and Lees Hall GC's Holly Morgan sixth.
Morris, who finished second in both the English women’s amateur championship and the English women’s open stroke play championship last year, shot rounds of 70 72 at Formby to finish level par as Cleobury Mortimer GC's Emily Price took the trophy (72 69).
Winning (70 74) was one shot better than Morgan (72 73).
