Yorkshire golf: Sheffield's sixth win in seven matches secures YIDU Junior League title
Leeds interrupted their dominance last year, but Sheffield reclaimed the crown when they defeated Harrogate 27-9 at Ripon.
They edged East Riding on points difference at the top of the final table with both sides having finished with six wins and one defeat from the seven rounds of matches.

Hide AdSheffield's only loss was to Teesside while East Riding's sole reverse was against the ultimate champions.
The scoreline at Ripon did not do justice to Harrogate whose efforts forced many matches to go all the way.
Sheffield gave themselves a fine platform for overall victory with a 10-2 foursomes session triumph, which included 6&5 victories by Matty Freeman and Jack Wilson, and Harrison Naylor and Lewis Brannagan.
In a hard-fought afternoon single’s session, Brandon Perry secured a 4&3 victory, but most matches went down the 18th.

Hide AdSheffield Union president Dennis Clarke said: “It has been a fantastic day’s golf. We were chased all the way home by Harrogate and the result does not reflect the overall performances by both sides.
"Seven matches went down the last with Sheffield winning four and managing three halves.
“But what a year for our boys. I’m happy for the squad and I must congratulate our junior manager Dave Hall whose selection has been spot on all year.”
