Yorkshire golf: White Rose's Boys team in imperious form at Tankersley Park GC
They lost just two points in the 12 singles matches after securing a 5-1 lead in the morning foursomes, but came up just short of emulating their senior side, who beat Derbyshire 16-2 last month.
Biggest morning winners were Joe Allenby (Hessle) and Pannal's Will Eardley, who triumphed 7&5.

Hide AdWakefield's Dan Bradbury and James Swash (Middlesbrough) needed only one more hole to win 6&4.
Swash, in fact, did not get beyond the 14th green at Tankersley as he won his singles match by the same scoreline.
Three other home pairings won comfortably - Matty Raybould (Bridlington) and Charlie Thornton (Fulford), 5&4; Barclay Brown (Hallamshire) and Charlie Daughtrey (Rotherham), 5&4, and Aaron Nairn (Rotherham) and Luke Palmowski (Hickleton), 5&3.
Howley Hall's Tom North and Knaresborough's Nathan Seal were the only White Rose pairing who were defeated, but took their opponents to the 17th green before succumbing 2&1.
Nine Yorkshire players ended with wins in both sessions.
