Black Friday deals on the beauty counters

The pre-Christmas bargain week is bringing brilliant beauty deals on High Street and designer brands. Stephanie Smith picks out some of the best buys.

Imported to the UK from the US, Black Friday falls on the day after Thanksgiving, which itself always falls on the fourth Thursday in November. That means it’s THIS Friday, November 24, when you can snap up party make-up, much-needed skincare and Christmas gifts at a fraction of their usual price. Here’s what we’ve got our eye on:

At Boots, online and in store, No7 Black Friday deals run from this Friday until November 30. So No7 Protect & Perfect Intense Advanced Body Serum (combining nourishing Argan oil and moisture locking Hyaluronic Acid), was £25, will be £12; No7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Brush (which gently exfoliates and deeply cleanses the skin, in less than 60 seconds, was £25, will be £14; No7 Instant Illusions Airbrush Away Primer (which puts fine lines, wrinkles, uneven skin tone and pores in to soft focus) was £16.50, will be £10; No7 Core Collection Brush Set (contains Foundation Brush, Concealer Brush, Eye Colour Brush and Blusher Brush) was £23, will be £15.

Also at Boots, from now until November 30, Mark Hill Salon Professional Hairdryer, which is normally £59.99, costs £29.99.

At Argos, there’s a box set of 30 Barry M nail polishes, which was £59.99, now £29.99, while stocks last.

House of Fraser has Black Friday discounts including the ghd Gold V Mini Styler, was £119, now £99. And at Ghdhair.com, there is£20 off the ghd electrical range, selected products, until November 27, and 30 per cent off the Tropic Sky Platinum Styler on Black Friday. There is 10 per cent off at Debenhams across all beauty

From November 23, at Origins.co.uk and counters, there is an Origins Hydrate & Celebrate Black Friday Set, worth £105, for £42. Meanwhile, TheHeroProject.co.uk is a new online retailer which aims to offer only no-nonsense hero products, and there there is Black Friday deal of 30 per cent off everything plus free delivery if you spend more than £50.
