The band will play the NME/Radio 1 Stage and join the likes of Grime artist Big Narstie, hotly-tipped six-piece Whitney and Californian band Third Eye Blind at the Bank Holiday musical extravaganza.

The mammoth line up on the Main Stage, that already boasts appearances from the biggest names in modern music, will be boosted by American band Clutch and Macclesfield trio The Virginmarys whose set of riotous punk comes fresh

off the back of sophomore album ‘Divides’.

A spokesman for the festival said: “Across a spectrum of stages, Reading and Leeds provides a true platter of game-changing music with a variety of names added to the line up today.”
