My list: Producer Nicola Corp

I'M CURRENTLY READING: Jon Ronson's The Psychopath Test, A Journey through the Madness Industry. It's a fascinating piece of work '“ I think most of us have a perceived notion of what 'psychopath' means, and who they might be, but it turns out that a lot of people that we know, and many of them in the public eye, display psychopathic tendencies.

I’ve been listening to: I love my speech radio, so the morning always begins with Today on Radio 4, and then probably something like Start the Week, with Andrew Marr. I enjoy my news, my politics and current affairs. Next comes 6 Music and Radio 2.

On TV, I’ve been watching: Not much, since the Mystery Plays project takes up so much of my time. But I did catch up with Luther (which I adore) and I made a special effort to watch Deutschland 83 – my German is very “schoolgirl”, so I really did need the subtitles, but it was incredibly interesting to find out more about a period of history that most of us lived through.

The film I last saw was: Amy, which I put in my husband Tony’s stocking for Christmas, and which Channel 4 gave an airing the other weekend. It’s about the life and death of Amy Winehouse. It isn’t gratuitous, just terribly honest and direct.

The live performance I’d recommend is: A whole group of us went to see The Girls at The Grand, and we all loved it. I predict a run in the West End very shortly. Tim Firth’s script is so warm, and honest, and funny, and you find yourself laughing and crying at one and the same time.

My next box set will be: Probably The Bridge, and then Borgen. Both meticulous in casting, shooting, the whole darned thing.
