The British indie rock favourites had a number one hit with their 2006 smash hit Lost In America. The demo gives fans a fascinating glimpse into how the chart-topper first sounded before becoming one of the defining songs of the decade.
The surprise release comes as the band's classic line-up prepare to hit the road on a 20th anniversary tour celebrating their landmark self-titled album, with O2 Academy Leeds hosting the Yorkshire date on Monday, November 30, 2026.
According to frontman Johnny Borrell, Lost In America was the first version the band recorded before they transformed it into the more dramatic arrangement that went on to top the UK Singles Chart and help their second album sell more than 1.6 million copies in Britain.
The Leeds concert promises to be a nostalgic celebration of that era, with Razorlight performing the five-times platinum album in full.
Fans can expect era-defining favourites including America, In The Morning, Before I Fall To Pieces and I Can't Stop This Feeling I've Got, alongside deeper album tracks rarely heard live.
The band remain one of Britain's biggest indie success stories, boasting a No.1 album, eight UK Top 20 singles, two multi-platinum records and more than 1.6 million monthly Spotify listeners.
For fans who grew up with the soundtrack of mid-2000s indie, the release of Lost In America offers a fresh reason to revisit the album – before experiencing it live in Leeds this autumn. Get tickets today at See Tickets, Ticketmaster, Livenation and Eventim.
