Zandra Moore, founder and CEO of Leeds-based panintelligence, will deliver the keynote speech at this year’s Yorkshire Fastest 50 awards on Friday, March 1.

Zandra will share insight from her journey since founding the software company in 2014, and how the last decade has shaped not only the strategic direction of the firm, but how digital technologies are redefining what it means to be in business.

From Sheffield to Leeds, York to Bradford, over the past decade, Yorkshire has reshaped itself as a digital powerhouse. Its digital industry is the fastest growing in the UK, and according to a DCMS Regional Ecosystems Report, is set to create an extra 42,000 digital tech jobs and grow by at least £1.6bn by 2025.

Yorkshire companies are adapting quickly, utilising technology to enhance operational efficiency, drive growth, and remain competitive not just in the UK but in a global market.

Someone who knows how to harness the power of digital and data is Zandra. Ahead of the Fastest 50, she describes what it’s like to grow a modern company, what makes Yorkshire such a unique place to operate, and how harnessing technology can help keep businesses one step ahead.

“My experience leading panintelligence has reinforced my belief in the power of data-driven decision-making. Data is not just numbers; it's the lifeblood of strategic planning, offering insights that can lead to transformative changes within any business. Yorkshire businesses have shown a great ability to harness this power, using data to inform their strategies, improve their operations and deliver value to their employees, partners and customers.

“The success stories emerging from Yorkshire are diverse. They range from tech startups revolutionising their sectors with innovative solutions to traditional industries that have skilfully navigated digital transformation to drive change and growth. This adaptability and innovative mindset are what sets Yorkshire businesses apart - and why our digital sector is growing so rapidly.

“Yorkshire has always been a place of hard work and determination, qualities that have defined our businesses for decades, but we work smart too. The sense of community and collaboration among us is something truly special. I believe our cooperative, supportive spirit has driven creativity and originality, with companies willing to share knowledge, resources, and best practices. It's a testament to the strength of the local business environment that competition and collaboration can coexist, each driving the other towards greater achievements.

“The way we face ever growing challenges head-on is truly inspiring. We react and adapt swiftly - realising that staying static is not an option. The future belongs to those who are prepared to change, adapt, and innovate and this is evident by the range of growing, successful businesses featured in this year’s Fastest 50. I’m very much looking forward to meeting some of them at the Fastest 50 Awards ceremony.”
