7. The Kirk Sandall Hotel, a glass hotel in Kirk Sandall, Yorkshire, shortly before completion, 1st October 1934. With a frontage to the main road, all the exterior and the handsome verandah which surmounts the main entrance are entirely built of glass. This is of heavy plate and attached to a cement foundation. The scheme is carried out in three colours, and the interior of all rooms on the ground floor is made of glass. Chairs, tables and electric light fittings will be chromium plated.
