Two men found with stab wounds in Huddersfield during early hours

A police investigation has begun after two men were found with stab wounds in Huddersfield during the early hours.

Officers were called to a report of a disturbance in St Johns Road just before 1am today.

They found two 19-year-old men with stab wounds.  

The victims were treated by paramedics and taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Police said this morning that one man had been discharged and the second remained in hospital in a serious condition.

A spokeswoman said enquiries into the circumstances were continuing.
