Driver dies after Jaguar X-Type crashes in Doncaster
A man has died after his car crashed into a lamppost in Doncaster this morning.
South Yorkshire Police it was reported that a yellow Jaguar X-Type had been involved in a collision in Thorne Road at around 5.50am.
A spokesman said: "The driver of the Jaguar, a 19-year-old Doncaster man, suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
"No other vehicles are believed to have been involved."
An investigation into the circumstances of the collision is now under way.
