Teacher in Space Academy mission
Conor Davies, of Harrogate’s Ashville College, is one of 12 teachers chosen from across the country to join the academy to teach science, technology, engineering, maths and geography to pupils and teachers.
Over the next four years, Mr Davies, who also heads the school’s physics department, will deliver student master classes, careers events and a bespoke space engineering course at Loughborough College.

“Our aim is to boost the number of pupils going on to study a science subject or engineering at A-Level or higher, which in turn will help boost the number of young people working in these industries.”
