A woman has been rescued from a car crash by fire-fighters in Leeds this evening.

It happened at the Ring Road Junction with Black Moor Road at Moortown at around 7pm.

Two cars were involved and one woman was trapped.

After being extricated by West Yorkshire fire service she was taken to hospital by ambulance.

Appliances from Cookridge and Moortown attended.
