Leeds United and Sheffield Wednesday hit with five-figure fines after fan behaviour in home games in May
Leeds have been fined £20,000 after a spectator physically and verbally abused Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe in the technical area during their Premier League match at Elland Road on May 13.
The spectator, David Derbyshire, was sentenced to three months in jail in September and handed a six-year football banning order after he confronted Howe during the game.

Meanwhile, the Owls have been fined £50,000 for crowd control misconduct during their League One play-off semi-final second leg win over Peterborough United at Hillsborough on May 25.
The club admitted failing to ensure fans conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and failing to stop any form of pitch incursion, the Football Association said.
In a statement, the club said they would make no further comment.

One assistant referee was knocked over by a celebrating supporter.
