Captain Picks
Patrick Bamford (£6.9m) vs Wolves (A) & Southampton (H)

Hide AdBamford’s form of two goals and three assists across his last four games coupled with having a double gameweek against middling opposition in Wolves and Southampton immediately makes him a strong captain choice.
He’s the game’s top-scoring forward behind Kane and over the last four gameweeks no player in the league has taken more shots in the box than the Leeds striker, which proves that he’s getting into the right areas.
Danny Ings (£8.5m) vs Chelsea (H) & Leeds (A)
With a double gameweek against Chelsea and Leeds, Ings is Southampton’s stand=out pick and their main threat for goals.
He has more goal involvements than any other Saints player this season (10) and has taken more shots in the box and more shots on target than all of his teammates over the last four gameweeks.

Hide AdChelsea’s defence has tightened up in recent weeks, so it would be against Leeds where you would hope for most of your points as the West Yorkshire side have the joint second worst defence in the league and have kept just one clean sheet in their last seven league games.
Bruno Fernandes (£11.6m) vs Newcastle (H)
We recommended Bruno last week alongside Raheem Sterling even though he had one game compared to Sterling’s two – but guess who scored more points?! Bruno’s two bonus and third goal in consecutive games earned him nine points compared to Sterling’s seven even though Raheem played an extra game.
The same could happen this week despite him playing one game compared to Bamford and Ings’ two but Bruno should still do well. He has five goal involvements across his last three league games and scored two more goals in the Europa League on Thursday. Newcastle have lost eleven of their last fifteen games in all competitions so Man United will be expected beat them convincingly.
The Form Guide - Who’s Hot?
Raphinha (Leeds, £5.4m)
Since his first Premier League start, no Leeds player has scored more points than Raphinha, whose assist against Arsenal took him three points clear of Bamford in this period.

Hide AdNo Leeds player has created more chances than him in the same timeframe and you could argue that his form of two goals and four assists across his last five games makes him a captain contender.
Over the next three gameweeks he faces Wolves, Southampton, Aston Villa and West Ham.
Lewis Dunk (Brighton, £4.9m)
With 44 points over the last six gameweeks, Dunk is the league’s in-form defender having kept five clean sheets and scoring once since gameweek nineteen.
This week he’s up against Crystal Palace who have had the league’s fewest big chances and shots on target over the last four gameweeks so he could be on course for another clean sheet.
Luke Shaw (Man United, £5.0m)

Hide AdAs discussed in Bruno Fernandes’ section, on paper Man United’s game against Newcastle should be a routine win.
The game could provide the chance to keep it tight at the back and a licence for Shaw to get forward.
No defender has created more chances than Shaw over the last four gameweeks in a period where only Alexander-Arnold has whipped in more crosses.
Luke was rested in Man United’s midweek European game so should be fit and fresh come Sunday.
The Form Guide - Who’s Not?
Michail Antonio (West Ham, £6.6m)

Hide AdAntonio missed last week’s game through injury and it looks touch and go as to whether he’ll be fit to face Tottenham on Sunday.
Even at full fitness, this would be a tough game for Antonio as West Ham have failed to beat Spurs at home in their last four attempts.
It may be worth transferring him out for a player who is definitely fit and has an easier game.
Alexandre Lacazette (Arsenal, £8.2m)
He might be their leading goalscorer this season but Lacazette continues to struggle to nail down a spot in the Arsenal starting line-up.

Hide AdThe Frenchman has started only once in the last four gameweeks and was an unused substitute in their 4-2 win at home to Leeds last weekend which signalled his lack of importance to the squad. Against Man City this weekend, it seems like the right time to sell your Arsenal assets.
Ones to Watch (Less than 5% ownership)
Nathan Redmond (Southampton, £6.4m 0.2%)
With just one goal and no assists this season, it’s understandable why Redmond is owned by so few people.
That said, behind Ings, he has taken more shots, had more chances and created more chances than any other Southampton player over the last four gameweeks so his luck may be about to turn.
Eric Dier (Tottenham, £4.9m, 3.3%)
Spurs’ next three games against West Ham, Burnley and Crystal Palace (with the possibility of another game sandwiched in between) provides the perfect opportunity to end their dry spell of just one clean sheet in seven games. If you’re wanting to minimise your risk, it makes sense to go for Dier as he’s the cheapest option in the Tottenham defence.

Transfers

Hide AdAfter picking your initial squad, you receive 1 free transfer each Gameweek. Each additional transfer you make in the same Gameweek will deduct 4 points from your score.
If you do not use your free transfer, you are able to make an additional free transfer the following Gameweek. If you do not use this saved free transfer in the following Gameweek, it will be carried over until you do. You can never have more than 1 saved transfer.
For example, since you get 1 free transfer per gameweek, if you make no transfers between gameweeks, you will have 2 free transfers in preparation for the next gameweek. You will incur a 4 point hit per transfer over your free transfer allowance.
