HULL CITY do not have sole bragging rights when it comes to having players who have appeared in an FA Cup final.
Sheffield Wednesday captain Glenn Loovens was part of the Cardiff City side beaten 1-0 by Portsmouth in 2008 at Wembley and the Dutch defender believes that experience will stand him in good stead tomorrow.
“We have a couple of guys who have won promotion at Wembley,” he said.
“I was in the Cup final and playing there before does help to steady the nerves a bit.
“I always believe, ‘The bigger the occasion, the better I feel’.
“It gives me motivation and I expect things to go up a notch by Saturday.
“I think we are in for a treat,” he added.
