Deadline is extended for The Yorkshire Post's Excellence in Business awards
The Yorkshire Post’s Excellence in Business Awards for 2020 will honour the dynamic leaders who are bringing jobs and investment to our region.
In a year that has presented every person in Yorkshire with significant challenges, we will also be looking for the firms which have weathered the storm the best, not just in terms of performance but also how they looked out for clients, customers and staff.

The awards will take place on Wednesday, November 4 and will this year be staged as a hybrid event encompassing both a physical and digitally streamed event.
A physical event will take place at Leeds’s Headingley Stadium with reduced capacity to allow for social distancing. Meanwhile the entire event will also be streamed online so that guests can find out who has won.
The awards will be presented by a top-class media personality and celebrate the best of Yorkshire commerce. Headline sponsorship this year comes from Addleshaw Goddard, Grant Thornton and Virgin Money.

Last year saw a record level of entries into the awards with Sewtec, Wren Kitchens and Hermes among the big winners.
The awards, which have been staged annually since 2006, act as a sounding board for the region’s business community.
Simon Kamstra, head of Addleshaw Goddard’s Leeds office, said: “Yorkshire is home to a huge number of the country’s most successful, high-performing businesses, so we are thrilled to be sponsoring this year’s Yorkshire Post Business Excellence Awards and providing these companies with the profile and recognition they deserve.”
